ACADEMY OF TOURISM NAMED AFTER SHOKAN VALIKHANOV

On November 29, 2014, the Academy of Tourism was opened at the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism. Shokan Ualikhanov is a center where teachers of the Faculty of Tourism of KazAST conduct classes in 15 areas of tourism. Sections are intended for students of Almaty schools, lyceums and colleges.

Aims of the Academy:
– Promoting personal improvement and all-round development through tourism and local history activities.
– Organization of active, interesting and informative leisure of students and youth. – Integration of the principles of interethnic harmony and tolerance into the service system of an educational institution in the development stage. – Improving the quality and deepening the content of the educational process at the Academy of Tourism, educating the character and character of students.
