Teachers of the department of tourism and service are working on the topic of scientific research of the department – «Aspects of development of the Almaty tourism cluster». The theoretical results of the research are annually reflected in the published works of the department’s employees. Every year the department holds a correspondence international scientific and practical conference «Current research in the field of tourism and hospitality, dedicated to the memory of Sardarov O.A.»Teachers of the department take part in scientific and practical conferences at various levels, make presentations, and publish the results of their research.
Teachers of the department are actively involved in involving academy students in research activities. Every year, under their leadership, student reports are prepared and articles are published.
