Students of the Faculty of Tourism participated in all events held at the Academy and Faculty of Tourism levels during the academic year. September 1, 2023 – “Knowledge Day”, organization of a meeting with first-year students of the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and teaching staff of the Department of Tourism and Service.
September 9, 2023 – weekend tour. Gorelnik Gorge. The 1st-4th year participated, as well as accompanying teachers of the Department of Tourism and Service.
September 27, 2023 – The celebration of World Tourism Day at the Kaimar tourist and sports base. World Tourism Day was established by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (WTO) in 1979 and is celebrated annually on September 27. Master classes and competitions were held among students of the Faculty of Tourism of the 1st-4th year. In honor of the “World Tourism Day”, students were awarded prizes.
October 13-15, 2023 – 1st year students and the pre-teaching staff of the Faculty of Tourism of the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism visited the Turkestan region with a deep history and made a historical and cultural excursion.
October 21, 2023 – A weekend tour was held with 1st year students and pre-teaching staff In the Kok Zhailau tract.
October 25, 2023 – Republic Kaztur search and rescue competitions were held in Almaty. 15 teams came to the start of the route, which was laid on the territory of the Qaragai mountain resort.
November 14, 2023 – an event dedicated to the “Day of the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism”. In honor of the Academy’s birthday, the official awarding of cash prizes to the best teachers and students who were active in studies, science, sports, social events and glorified the academy took place.
Summing up the results of the contests in the nominations:
“The best student-athlete 2023”, “The best research paper 2023”, “The best adviser 2023” “The best student 2023”. Among the participants of the 2nd -4th year, Veronika TOUR 21-2, a 3rd-year student of the OP “Tourism”, Marchenko, was awarded in the nomination “Best Student of the Year 2023”. And also in the nomination “Best adviser 2023” was awarded to senior lecturer, PhD N.S. Espenbetov.
November 18, 2023 – Football competitions were held from 1st to 4th year. Where the 1st place was taken by the students of the Kazakh group of the 1st year of the Faculty of Tourism.
December 4, 2023 – Within the walls of the Academy, students of the Faculty of Tourism for the 1st year were given a lecture on the topic “Development of inclusive tourism in Kazakhstan” under the organization of the Faculty of Tourism. The speaker is Anna Pozdnyakova, INTECHTUR company.
December 6, 2023 – A language festival was held among students of the 1st year of the Academy, on the theme “Til – daryn 2023”. Organizers: departments of Kazakh, Russian, and English languages. The 1st year students of the Faculty of Tourism took the 2nd place.
